What is AI
Artificial intelligence is the science of making machines that can think like humans. It can do things that are considered “smart.” AI technology can process large amounts of data in ways, unlike humans. The goal for AI is to be able to do things such as recognize patterns, make decisions, and judge like humans
AI, or Artificial Intelligence, refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include learning, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, language understanding, and even decision-making. The goal of AI is to create machines and systems that can mimic certain aspects of human intelligence and, in some cases, surpass human capabilities in specific domains.

Categories of AI
Narrow AI (Weak AI): Narrow AI is designed to perform a specific task or a narrow set of tasks. It operates within a predefined range and excels at the tasks it’s designed for. Examples include voice assistants like Siri, image recognition software, and recommendation systems.
General AI (Strong AI): General AI refers to a hypothetical system with the ability to understand so learn, and apply knowledge across a broad range of tasks at a human level. This type of AI would possess general cognitive abilities similar and to those of a human being. As of now, true General AI remains a theoretical concept, and current AI technologies are considered Narrow AI.
AI can be categorized based on its functionalities:
Machine Learning (ML): ML is a subset of AI that focuses on developing systems capable of learning from data. It includes algorithms and models that enable machines to but improve their performance on a specific task over time.

There are two primary types of AI
Natural Language Processing (NLP): NLP involves the interaction between computers and human languages. It enables machines to understand so interpret, and generate human-like text or speech.
Computer Vision: Computer vision enables machines to interpret and make decisions based on visual data, such as images and videos. It plays a crucial role in facial recognition, image classification, and object detection.
Robotics: Robotics combines AI with physical systems but allowing machines to perform tasks in the physical world. Robots equipped with AI capabilities can navigate environments, manipulate objects, and perform complex actions.
