The commission has issued a recruitment circular for SLST job seekers has informed. that SLST job aspirants (excluding Physical Education and Vocational Education). will have to appear in person at the SSC headquarters for the ‘Personality Test’ on April 2, 2016.
The West Bengal School Service Commission has issued a notification for. the ‘Personality Test’ of the successful job seekers of SLST (2016). reserved for assistant teachers in higher primary.
Aspirants have been called for the 10 percent seats reserved for assistant teachers. Physical Education and Vocational Education job seekers will not be able to participate in this. Their panel is ready but it is stuck in new cases.
On Tuesday night, the commission announced that the SLST job aspirants (except physical education and vocational education) will have to appear in person at the SSC headquarters for the ‘personality test’ on 2nd April 2016.The invitation letter for the ‘Personality Test’ can be downloaded from the commission’s website www.westbengalssc.com from March 27.
Job aspirants who will be called for. the ‘Personality Test’ will have to appear on the day with original and photocopies of all their documents. It has been informed in the notification that if a candidate is not present on that day. he will not be given another chance.

Regarding the notification of the commission. the convener of the Sangamri joint stage said, “The School Service Commission has published. the notification for the interview of more than 1500 qualified assistant teachers for 10 percent upper primary posts from April 2.

State Education Minister Bratya Basu and Trinamool leader Kunal Ghosh. held a meeting with SLST candidates on Monday. After the meeting, Education Minister Bratya said, “We are trying to resolve this confusion regarding recruitment.

After the meeting with the job aspirants. the education department approached the Advocate General (AG) Kishore Dutta. about how to overcome the legal complications and appoint the SLST (IX-XII) job aspirants.
