Sikkim 2024 Lok Sabha Election: Schedule, Date, and Constituency Information
The Election Commission of India declared on Saturday that there will be a single phase of voting for the Sikkim Lok Sabha seat on April 19.
On June 4, the votes would be tallied.
In the Lok Sabha, Sikkim is represented by a single seat. The state typically experiences the dominance of regional parties as a result of its geographic position. BJP, INC, Sikkim Democratic Front, and Sikkim Krantikari Morcha are a few of the prominent parties that run from this area.
Gopal Chettri has been nominated by the Indian National Congress (INC) to represent Sikkim.
The remaining parties have not yet revealed their nominees.
Indra Hang Subba of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party won the seat in 2019. This state’s elections are probably going to be held in one phase.
