Three locations will host the five-day expo: the India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida, as well as Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi in the nation’s capital. Additionally, PM Gati Shakti is boosting multimodal connectivity. As a result, the cost of logistics will go down, and India will be the most cost-competitive nation. These give the car industry a lot of opportunities,” PM Modi stated.

“Our mobility solutions should have 7 Cs: Common, Connected, Convenient, Congestion Free, Charged, Clean, or Cutting Edge,” Mr. Modi stated, emphasizing the necessity for mobility solutions.
Speaking about the rise in EV sales in the nation, Mr. Modi stated, “Over the past ten years, their sales have increased by 640%. Ten years ago, there were 2,600 EVs sold annually. More than 16.8 lakh EVs were sold in 2024. This indicates that we experience twice as many sales in a single day as we do in a year.
“EV sales are expected to grow eight times by the end of the decade,” he stated. “Technology and innovation drive the automotive business. The future is in the East, Asia, and India, he continued, regardless of innovation, technology, skill, or need.
In front of Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, H.D. Kumaraswamy, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Manohar Lal, Piyush Goyal, and Hardeep Singh Puri, as well as representatives from the auto industry, Mr. Modi officially opened the Expo at Bharat Mandapam.
It is anticipated to draw over 5 lakh visitors from all around the world, with 5,100 international participation. It is anticipated that around 40 new product releases would take place at this major event of the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo.
