Full Rajasthan Royals squad and player list for the 2024 Indian Premier League

The Rajasthan Royals placed the first bid at the IPL 2024 Auction in Dubai, paying Rs 7.4 crore to acquire West Indies captain Rovman Powell. Shubham Dubey, an Indian batter, was also acquired by them for Rs 5.8 crore, making him one of the few uncapped crorepati players in the auction. Additionally, the Royals acquired two additional foreign players for comparatively little money.

In the IPL 2024 Auction held in Dubai, the opening offer was won by the Rajasthan Royals. West Indies captain Rovman Powell was bought by the first season winners for an incredible Rs 7.4 crore, the highest price ever paid at the auction.

The Indian batter Shubham Dubey, who was one of the few uncapped crorepati players at the auction, was subsequently purchased by the Royals for a hefty sum of money.

The Royals paid an incredible Rs 5.8 crore to acquire Dubey. Additionally, they brought on two more foreign players—albeit at comparatively low costs.

On March 24, the Sanju Samson-led Royals take on the Lucknow Super Giants at home to begin their IPL 2024 season.
