


DC Squad IPL2024: Full Player and Team List for the Delhi Capitals
At the IPL 2024 Auction in Dubai, Delhi Capitals unexpectedly paid Rs 7.2 crore to acquire Indian wicketkeeper Kumar Kushagra, who has never been captained. One of the only uncapped players earning more than Rs 5 crore each year is Kushagra. Jhye Richardson, an Australian bowler, and Harry Brook, an English batter, were two more noteworthy international acquisitions that cost Rs 5 crore and Rs 4 crore, respectively. Up to nine players, including South African Tristan Stubbs and West Indian Shai Hope, were acquired by DC.

The keeper-batter cost Delhi an incredible Rs 7.2 crore, which puts him among the select few uncapped players whose compensation exceeds Rs 5 crore.
The two most notable foreign acquisitions for DC were English batter Harry Brook and Australian bowler Jhye Richardson, who cost Rs 4 crore and Rs 5 crore, respectively.
Up to nine players, including South African Tristan Stubbs and West Indian Shai Hope, were purchased by DC at the auction. Sumit Kumar, an uncapped Indian all-rounder, cost them one crore rupees.

The Rishabh Pant-led DC had a terrible start to the 2024 Indian Premier League season, losing both of their first two matches – one by 12 runs against Rajasthan Royals and one by four wickets against Punjab Kings.
In their third matchup with the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings, DC produced a semblance of a comeback, winning handily by 20 runs.
