LSG vs. CSK IPL 2024: On April 23, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Let’s examine the best players on each squad individually.

Chennai Premier League
The best batter for Chennai is definitely Shivam Dube. In just seven innings, he has scored 245 runs. His average is 49.00 and his strike rate is 157.05. He’s scored 15 sixes and 20 fours. Next is Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad. He has an average of 40.17 and 241 runs scored. 130.27 is his strike percentage.

Next is MS Dhoni, the so-called “young wicketkeeper.” He has a strike percentage of 255.88 and has hit seven fours and eight sixes. In the five innings he has played thus far, he has amassed 87 runs off of 34 balls and has not been out.

Chennai’s best bowler is Mustafizur Rahman. In six innings, he has claimed eleven wickets. He has an economy of 9.41 and an average of 20.54. For CSK, Matheesha Pathirana, another immigrant from Sri Lanka, has claimed nine wickets in four innings. He has an economy of 7.31 and an average of 13.00.

Six wickets have been claimed by Tushar Deshpande in seven innings. In the current IPL season, he has an average of 36.00 and an economy of 8.30.

Super Giants of Lucknow
KL Rahul, the captain of Lucknow, sets a good example. With 286 runs scored in seven innings, he leads the squad in scoring. His average is 40.86 and his strike rate is 143.00.

Next is Nicholas Pooran. In just seven innings, he has scored 246 runs. With a 164.00 strike rate and four undefeated runs, he maintains an 82.00 average. He’s scored 20 sixes and 13 fours.

In just seven innings, Quinton De Kock has scored 228 runs. His average is 32.57 and his strike rate is 136.52. Against the Rajasthan Royals, he had his highest score of 81 off 52 runs.

The top bowler for Lucknow is Yash Thakur. Eight wickets at an average of 26.50 have been taken by him. He has a 10.17 economy. Additionally, Mohsin Khan has claimed six wickets at a 24.16 average. His rating is 9.06.

An injury has kept Mayank Yadav out of commission. In just three games thus far, he has claimed six wickets. With an economy of 6.00 and an average of 9.00, he has had a significant impact, but it is unlikely that he will play again for LSG against CSK.
