Punjab: Sunrisers Hyderabad got their third win of the season by beating Punjab Kings by two runs in a tight match. Batting first, Hyderabad scored 182 runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy scored the highest 64 runs. In reply, Punjab Kings stopped at 180 runs. Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma, the heroes of Punjab’s last match, lost and tried to win the match, but Punjab sank to the shore.
Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sunrisers Hyderabad kept losing wickets at regular intervals from the beginning of the innings.
