Shubman's 89 at home, Gujarat gave Punjab a target of 200 runs with the captain's bat

Shubman Gill scored the first fifty in the current IPL at home. Gujarat Titans gave Punjab Kings a target of 200 runs based on his 89 runs.

Shubman Gill started well but could not score big runs. Finally, he scored a half-century against Punjab Kings at home. He was accompanied by Sai Sudarshan. Gujarat Titans set a target of 200 runs in front of Punjab Kings under the leadership of captain Shubman.

Shubman survived on one side. He did not stop scoring runs even after scoring fifty. Shubman was not discounting any Punjab bowler. He was only playing big shots towards the end. The Gujarat captain was slowly moving towards the century. Rahul Teotiao also scored a quick run at the end.

Shubman could have scored 15 runs in the last over. Arashdeep gave 13 runs. As a result, Shubman had to stop before the century. He remained unbeaten on 89 runs. Teotia remained unbeaten on 23 runs off 8 balls. Gujarat lost 4 wickets and scored 199 runs in 20 overs.
