Constituency Specifics
The BJP had previously declared their nominees for each of the 11 seats. Remarkably, a different candidate ran for five of these six seats in the previous general elections.

A few days after the BJP revealed the names, the Congress likewise unveiled the list of just six candidates for Chhattisgarh, which included two former ministers and a current member of parliament in addition to former chief minister Bhupesh Baghel. Chhattisgarh also held state elections last year, which the BJP won handily.
The website of the Election Commission reports that the Congress secured 35 seats and the BJP secured 54 seats. The Gondvana Gantantra Party (GGP) won one seat.
